What People's Say About Place

Can't give a 5 cuz it's our first visit but it will get a 5 next visit. A great little place on Newcastle Street offering southern cuisine. Large bar with dining tables scattered about. Happy hour 5-6. House wines, well drinks and apps are 1/2 price. We got the drink special, a Summer Breeze which was delightful. We also had the night's special app, beef and chicken taquintos served with salsa and sour creme. These were perfectly stuffedcand fried. For the entrée we both chose the fried chicken. We don't often get a chance for authentic southern fried chicken so we were looking forward to it. Served with Collard Greens and Garlic Mashed Potatoes, it was worth the wait. We got there right at opening so I think they were still getting situated with staff etc as it took a little bit to get waited on and we were waited on by 3 different staff. Very friendly and attentive, all with that lovely southern charm. We know that many restaurants have been challenged for the last couple years so it was no bother. We will be back again the next time we are in the area! Check it out, you will enjoy!

Celebrated our anniversary and had one of the best meals ever! Buffalo meatloaf, southrn fried chicken, sweet potatoes and boiled peanut hummus to start with.

Really good local restaurant in downtown Brunswick. Unique takes on southern favorites. Friendly bar attracts a local audience. Excellent mixologist. Probably would be a good date night location.

This was our third trip into Brunswick. Each visit we find a little bit better, different place. This has been the best so far! A phenomenal vibe within this restaurant! This was upscale & cool, but not pretentious. Excellent drinks! I had the Silver Bluff IPA and my wife had Jameson and Ginger (they had a full bar). For dinner, we had a peach salad, chicken pot pie, and I had the shrimp and grits which was excellent! The way they prepared the grits was the best I’ve had in a long time. The service in the restaurant (thank you Tammy‘s daughter!) was just the best. As guests/visitors to Brunswick, they made us feel very inclusive the local crowd. Definitely recommend this to anyone traveling into Brunswick for dinner.

Hostess was Fantastic!!!! Outstanding and very personable!!! Great Customer Service!!!! The Owner made our Anniversary very special and had Entertainer-Anne Atkins sang "At Last" for us!!! Server was Good!! Excellent drinks!!!! Delicious appetizers!!! Fried Green Tomatoes Crab Cakes Entree Very Good!!! (Only thing I did not appreciate) Did not like presentation of Peach Cobbler-taste was a little bland

Everything was fantastic! A solo singer entertained us with lovely songs. Great customer service. The food was delicious. My only feedback would be that the peach cobbler was cold. The dish was warm like they tried warming it up. But it didn't suffice. Tasted great but would have been so much better served warm.

Outstanding food and even better service. This is a must try place. 1/2 price drinks and appetizers before 6. The fried green tomatoes are amazing. Everything we tried was delicious. Sadly another causality of the booming Biden inflation. The best restaurant in Brunswick is closed.
